LAIKAFONT is an impressive experiment with dynamic font. The theory is that if the font is not printed, there is no reason why it should remain static.
This approach is also interesting while actually generating fonts: with a few components and values (like serifs, stem width, slant angle etc) you can jump from a Didone to Sans to Slab in no time.
